The Bible shows a tremendous amount of consideration for a unique group of people. God is very plain about how this special class of people should be treated. Being a widow along the journey of life is not something, one has ever planned for that is why God promised them, “I will be the husband to them”. God always send helpers to them, every little hand you extend to them is honorable to God. My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow, (Isaiah1:17). This is a call to action. God loves and wants us to help the widows as much as possible. He says in John 14:18: “I will not leave you comfortless, desolate, helpless; I will come. He will send helpers. Wow! What a powerful promise that is. Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. We are not alone and God will come to us in our bitter trials. He says He will be with us as we grieve and as we find a way to cope in our new circumstances.
